I went on cruise to the Bahamas and when they were going over the safety rules, I listened very intently cause I was always afraid of being around big bodies of water. I did pretty good and it is beautiful but I was taught by my swimming instructor so respect the water. 🙂😉

I was on a cruise where a staff member went missing. Sadly he did go overboard during the night and the ship did turn around but because they didn’t know what time he was lost, there was no hope. Our rooms were all searched one by one in the hope that he was just fraternising with a guest. Another staff member I talked to on that cruise said some of the staff are on those cruise ships for many months on end for poor pay….and they miss their families. I’ll never forget that and I just feel so sorry for his family 😞
